Alpine Modern Magazine Issue 06
This style is sold out.
We stumbled onto Alpine Modern a while back, and fell in love with their modern take on life in the mountains. After a chat with Founder Lon McGowan, we realized that we had quite a bit in common. We're happy to distribute Alpine Modern on Alps & Meters.com and are excited to share their gorgeous quarterly with you.
Alpine Modern Quarterly is a coffee-table magazine that explores elevated living, architecture and design in mountain regions around the world. The stories and photography express the emerging design ethos of a more natural minimalism and refined life entwined with the outdoors.
Their quarterly publication is printed in the USA on heavy-weight 80 lb uncoated paper which pairs beautifully with the photography and minimal graphic layouts.
Alpine Modern is going philosophical in Issue 06. Lose yourself in essays on the source of architecture and fragile moments of being human among mountains. Discover how a traditional Bavarian farmhouse was saved through progressive design and a Slovenian architect’s modern cabin won a competition to design alpine Utopia. Plus, more absorbing stories, poetry, phenomenal photography and art abound.
